Invitation to the 10th Turkish Physics Association Physics Students Congress and Festival
As Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk stated, "The most real guide for everything in the world, for civilization, for life, for success, is knowledge and science." In line with this principle, as the Turkish Physics Association, we are organizing the 10th Physics Students Congress and Festival between September 01-05, 2025, to emphasize the importance of science and especially physics in our society, to encourage our youth to do scientific research, and to bring them together with scientists who are experts in their fields.
Our congress is open to high school, undergraduate and graduate students from all branches and all science lovers. The aim of our congress is to raise awareness about science and especially physics, to provide students with research experience and to have a scientific culture.
Participation Information:
Participants can attend the congress as listeners or with oral/poster presentations. Presentations should include a simple research result on a known topic in any field that the participants are interested in. A participant can upload a maximum of two oral and poster presentations to the TFD 10th Student Congress .
To participate, fill out the registration form via this link . You must upload an abstract of your presentation or poster in the form. Each participant can upload a maximum of two abstracts for oral or poster presentations ( maximum 2 posters and 2 oral presentations ) on a single application screen on the form. However, applications can be edited later.
The abstracts sent by the participants who applied to participate in the Turkish Physics Association 10th Physics Students Congress and Festival with oral or poster presentations will be evaluated by the “ TFD-10 Referee Board ”. The abstracts sent will be evaluated by at least 2 (two) referees as a result of the “Referee evaluation”. The referees will act as “blind referees” during the evaluation process and the identity of the owner of the evaluated work will not be seen by the referees.
If the submitted papers are deemed appropriate “according to the results of the referee evaluation”, they will be included in the congress program and can be presented within the program to be prepared by the organizing committee.
least 2 (two) referees in the referee committee as of the deadline for abstract submission, and if they are deemed appropriate “according to the referee evaluation results”, they will be included in the congress program and announced on our congress website https://www.tfd10ogrenci.org/ within the scope of the event program to be prepared by the organizing committee.
The studies accepted for oral/poster presentation by the referee committee will be included in the abstracts book.
Important Information:

The languages of the papers and presentations are determined as Turkish and English.

An oral or poster presentation should only be uploaded by the person who will present the presentation.

Invitation Letter, Name Badge, Certificate will be prepared only in the name of the person who uploaded the notification.

Other persons preparing papers must register as Audience Members at the Congress if they will not be presenting another paper themselves .

Each participant may only submit one application, but applications can be edited later.

The file name you will upload should be in the order of name, surname , school name, without spaces or Turkish characters, and instead of spaces, it should be underscore (_). It should be in the form of AD_SOYAD_OKUL_ADI. Example file name: BAKI_AKKUS_ISTANBUL_UNIVERSITESI
NOTE : Poster printing is the responsibility of the participant .
NOTE : Participants can get detailed information about accommodation.

Abstracts will be evaluated by the TFD-10 Scientific Board and will be included in the congress program according to the results of the referee evaluation. The program will be announced on our congress website https://www.tfd10ogrenci.org/ before the event.
Studies considered as oral presentations may be evaluated as poster presentations in the evaluation to be made by the Scientific Committee.
Oral presentations are limited to 12 minutes + 3 minutes of discussion. Presentations will be made at the congress center and the date/time of each presentation will be specified in the program. Oral presentations must be prepared using Microsoft Powerpoint on a flash drive or similar.
A vertical area of 100 cm and a horizontal area of 70 cm will be allocated for poster presentations . It is recommended that the posters be printed in full color on a single piece of photo paper/plastic/normal paper to fit the maximum dimensions. The day of the poster presentations will also be specified in the program.
